I think Jason is cute.Noone argues with that!

Yesterday was blazing hot,ain't it so? Despite the weather, lucky I was drove around and lucky that I have Jason. =D

I was waiting for Jason (Late cos' he brought his mum to polyclinic) so I opened the mailbox & saw the new IKEA 09 catalogue.
The Way You Live is their slogan for this year catalogue. I am not too sure if I want to decor my home the way I live though. Haha. It's gonna be a slop so I thought it is more appropriate if it's named The Way You want to Live.lolx.

It's a BIG sunshine day and good thing we have shades with us.

We drove to Goldenmile Market to have lunch. Jason wanted to sew his boots but find no such expert in the area. Boo! But I got my blings crystals though.

I don't usually order chicken rice when I'm eating outside but yesterday was an exceptional. But can someone please enlighten me?? Why is there a small piece of ham on the plate as well? I asked for braised egg but think the auntie didn't heard that but ham?

To my surprise, Jason just ordered the belgian choco waffle.Which makes me feel very fat and still eating alot.
I can't recall who it was that tells me that he/she was not too impressed with this waffle. Personally I find it quite nice. =x


I like that the chocolate is warm,not sweet nor overly bitter and it complements the waffle which is sweet but not too sweet. (I don't like overly sweet stuff.)

Having reach Goldenmile market, I think I must eat their Peanut soup Ah Boling. Funny how yesterday I wasn't too full to savour another dessert.


Honestly I think it is just ok. Nothing exactly to be overly wow about. It is nice but I think it is not as nice as the critics might have said. (By 'critics', I meant hearsay.)


The peanut soup is sweet but it could have been better if it's warmer? Yes, I purporsely took that peanut filling overflow pic to make it looks nice. My suggestion is to just take the peanut Ah Boling. I took 2 redbean paste and 2 peanut filling(I shared with Jason hor) and I am not that impressed with the redbean paste ones.

We continue our walking around the kampong glam area and it's freaking hot,hot,hot! I think the sunblock that I roughly smeared across my body is not of big help. Thank goodness that I'm wearing a tube. Lolx. At least I may get a more even tan on my top.

It is still interesting to walk around that area except it is too hot!
For fans of Sasha Bears,you find yourself a big outlet here. In the middle of Kampong Glam(That except spot).


After spending like almost $20 for 2 small packs of crystals(I asked for it.), we hurried back to the car(also hot!) and decided to go IKEA,Tampines. Jason suggested going there yesterday but I didn't think it would be an interesting place. There was no where else to go also thus we still headed there.
For the aircon,for the convenience of later event and for the free parking! Lolx.

Oh!Before Ikea, we went Bedok North for a while. Since Jason would be crossing that area, I told him to stop at Blk 86. I brought along my 50 yummiest cake list and Blk 86 Bedok North - Choc-A-Bloc is listed in there.

It took us a while to find the small shop but the sad news is they don't sell slices! They don't even have cakes for display. People just walk in for orders & collections.
We stepped in the shop and the aroma of thick chocolate is irresistable!!

No slices for sample so we hurried back to the car & whizzed to IKEA.

That pan that Jason is holding is SUPER heavy!!I can't even hold it up with one hand and how can anyone cook with that? I supposed that is for preventing robbery or self defense,except I think it can hit the death outta anyone immediately.

I would learn to cook if I have got a nice kitchen and no need to work, I promise*=p

My ideal kitchen is to have a counter in the middle. Sadly most HDB kitchens are long in shapes thus that is not too viable. Oh well...

Jason always,always have to bully me with some scary or awful looking creatures whenever he reached the toys department. He first picked out the frog then he put the octopus on my back. -_-

Shopping for labels, shopping for love. Manolo & Loui is all I looking for. Eh..no,I am just looking for shoe racks.


Look at my short fringe! It took me more than a hour to finally fix my hair. I wonder how long more it's gonna take to settle down.

He got his shoe racks & me,2 cups. I got the 2 cups cos' I wanna decor on it. Will show you guys when it is finally done.


It was the first time that I waited at the car park waiting area. It makes me feel....rich & weirdly blissful. Hehe. Talk about the beaut of 'first time'.

After loading our purchases on the car, we headed to Giant for breakfast purchase.

Usually I would just purchase healthier choices like Post Cereals but nowadays, I just can't give a damn. I bought 2 'childish' cereals and I miss my childhood.
Remember the times when your mum bought the assorted small packs of cereals and chocolaty ones like Koko Krunch and Milo pops are the first to be wiped out? Follow by sugary ones like Frosties,Honey stars and the left over is always the Kellog Corn one. Lol.


Jason is not the breakfast person. He just need his 2 packs of Ribenas for Sunday's matches. I threw in the mentos last min. It has been sometime since I last ate mentos.

Finally we headed to Downtown East to watch The Dark Knight.
Ooh...I tellcha, the late Heath Ledgers' acting is SUPREME!! I have not seen Brokeback Mountains yet(always jam when I wanted to watch at PPStream and now the movie's gone.) but again, this Joker is much,much more convincing than any of the villians & superheros movies you have seen.
It is especially when he said that "Why so serious?" and it will shakes fear down your spine. Yet the Joker is funny and man, you have not seen a villian like this till you see Heath acting in it.

Personally I think the movie is a lil' overload with actions and it caused me lil' headaches during the movie. I admit there is a few times I shut my eyes when I thought the Joker is about to kill.
I knew 'Harvey' is 2 face when I saw him flipping that coin but I just didn't know that Joker & 2 face were born at the same time. I thought one villian appeared after one is down. But I do remembered 2 face is kinda the 'weakest' of them all cos' he still has his other good side,weakly remained.

I couldn't remember Jack Nicholson was the Joker and I always thought Jim Carrey was the Joker. I only rem' Jim Carrey in his clown suit and I was really young when Batman was hot then.
Jason knocked my forehead cos' Jim Carrey was not the Joker. He was the Juggler or Wriggler. Duh.

Apprx 2 hours movie. I think it is worth the weekend prices. Not a fan of Batman? At least for the late Heath Ledger. This movie should be renamed The Joker.

Before the movie, we had 20 mins for food. Feeling a lil' peckish, we tried Superdog.

They have interesting 'stories' and some about Dos & Don'ts.
Food looks promising but again, we wouldn't know.

We tried their Fish & Chips. For a set that costs $6.50(Fish & Chips plus a drink), let's just say we weren't so impressed by the size.
Food wise is so-so and sadly the ice-lemon tea just taste like plain red tea with no hint of lemon taste! Not even the sugar part. You can say it's healthy but I felt cheated.

After the movie, we headed to McCafe. Can you believe I am still somewhat hungry? Wth!
I would have eaten the McDonald's nuggets if Jason wasn't hungry. I think there's something very wrong with me.

He will only drink ice Mocha at coffee joints. My hot choco & our oreo cheese cake. Nothing impressive, in terms of taste.

Overall, I think I ate so much more than Jason yesterday. =(
